The program runs for 8 semesters that spread over a normal duration of four (4) years leading to the B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience in the industry is an integral part of the curriculum and our students are expected to have completed a minimum of fourteen (14) weeks of supervised industrial work experience by the end of the program. This is done during the vacations and a report is expected at the end of it. A minimum of 140 credit hours is required for the undergraduate program, which includes a final year project.

Aims and Objectives:

The aim of the programme is to train young career seekers to acquire knowledge, skills and competences in the fields of civil engineering and to develop career as civil engineering professionals. The educational objectives of the Bachelor of Science Degree program in Civil are:

  • To provide an understanding of engineering principles,
  • To provide students with analytical, design and communication skills,
  • To prepare students to successfully enter the profession of civil engineering,
  • To prepare students for graduate study in engineering and other fields,
  • Prepare students to engage in life-long learning
